The Approach
A serious, joyful study.
Founded in 2009, Stefan's Guitar Academy is one of the few places in Trinidad and Tobago offering structured classical guitar training aligned with the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM).
Students develop technique, musicianship and stage confidence through disciplined practice and beautiful repertoire — culminating in our annual student recital, where every student gets to perform for an audience.

Programmes by Level
Levels follow the international ABRSM classical-guitar grades — the same exam system Stefan trained under. These are music grades, not school grades.
Grades 1–3
Foundation
Posture, technique, sight-reading and musical literacy. Build a solid foundation through carefully selected repertoire.
Grades 4–6
Intermediate
Expanded repertoire including Renaissance, Baroque and Romantic-era pieces. Develop expression and confidence.
Grades 7–8 & DipABRSM
Advanced
Concert-level repertoire and performance preparation. Pathway to ABRSM diplomas and serious performance.
